Sewing patterns

Sewing patternsSewing patterns are most definitely a sewer’s friend. In fact, sewing patterns are not just a good thing for beginner to experienced sewers to ensure that their clothing (or stuffed animal, etc.) turns out properly and fits, but sewing patterns are also an excellent way for different sewers to share all of their new ideas with other sewers. With sewing patterns, the same sewers, living on different ends of the continent, can sew the same dress (albeit, in different fabrics, etc.). Most sewing patterns for clothing have multiple sizes on them, so you can be sure that you make the right size. Of course, even if you have a sewing pattern, sewing can be difficult unless you know exactly what you are doing. Sewing patterns are not cheat sheets for sewers – you still have to be a good sewer to know how to use sewing patterns.
