Sewing supplies

Sewing supplies can be very varied. If you walk into the workroom of a seamstress, you are certain to see a room full of (and perhaps scattered with) sewing supplies. In fact, a seamstress my have as many sewing supplies as a carpenter has tools. There are basic sewing supplies like the needle and thread – comparable to the carpenter’s hammer and nail – and then there are many more, much more elaborate sewing supplies. The sewing supplies of a seamstress may consist not just of multiple threads and needles (which can vary greatly, too), but also measuring tools, cutting tools, fasteners, elastics, chalks, interfacings, sewing machine parts, tapes and ribbons, and so many more sewing supplies!
